400 AMP ELECTRODE HOLDER 

Short stub electrode holder made in Canada. Molded handle design eliminates the need for a guard ring. Durable construction. Brass body has a single oval point screw to hold cable secure. Electrode Capacity Up to 1/4" (6.4 mm) 

CABLE CAPACITY UP TO 3/0

For standard welding of 1/8 and 5/32 it is recommended to use a #1 x 10 foot or a #2 x 10 foot welding cable for the whip.

Also a smaller LC-1040 Male Cable connector is recommended as it will hold the smaller cable better. When assembling the L-400S Holder to the cable a small brass insert will help tighten the cable down to avoid it from pulling out.

If you are welding with 1/4 inch diameter electrodes then a 2/0 x 10 foot cable is recommended with a LC40-M 350 amp Connector.
