DC POSITIVE OR AC CURRENT SETTINGS

Excellent Electrode when joining older materials to new materials. Very stable arc charactaristics. It is widely used in the ship repair industries for this reason.

Has Most major approvals including ABC and Lloyds which are common in Canada. 

RECOMMENDED WELDING TECHNIQUES:

ARC LENGTH: Less than half the diameter of the electrode

FLAT: Angle electrode 10d - 15d from 90d

HORIZONTAL: Angle electrode slightly toward top plate

VERTICAL-UP: Use weaving technique

VERTICAL-DOWN: Not recommended

OVERHEAD: Use slight weaving motion within puddle
