Do I need to sign for my delivery?

No, we do not require a signature upon delivery. If you would like to set up a signature upon delivery, please email us at lock8-mail@lock8.ca and we would be happy to accomidate.

What if my order is damaged upon delivery?

If your order is damaged upon delivery, please call or email us and we will gladly help you.

What if my equipment is defective or requires repair?

This depends on the item. Lock 8 is a warranty repair facility for most major brands. Warranties are subject to manufacturer warranty (can vary from supplier to supplier).

Can I ship my order to an address other than my billing address?

We are capable of shipping to almost any address within Canada, and the 50 U.S. states. If there is an issue with your shipping location, we will contact you.

Do you accept international orders?

We currently only accept orders within Canada and the 50 U.S. states.

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Lock 8 Equipment Inc. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Shipping and Freight Facts

Each item is reasonably priced and freight is fairly charged on what you are buying. If you purchase an item that qualifies for free freight, all of the items on your order will ship for free. Items that do not qualify for free shipping or the flat fee shipping rate, will be charged accordingly as per that (those items). All other items on your order will ship free.

Same day courier is available in the Niagara, Halton, and GTA. Call for rates. Must have an order placed before 10:00 am, Monday to Friday

If you wish to pick up an order and any of our locations, the shipping charges will not apply. Call ahead to ensure your order is picked and ready for pickup.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

If the item is in stock at one of our locations, it should ship the same day if the order is placed before Noon EST. Otherwise, the shipment will go out the next business day. All other orders will have the estimated shipping date on the confirmation. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. You may also pick up your orders at one of our two locations in Port Colborne or Hamilton ON. and avoid any shipping charges. Phone for more information. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout and will be dependant on your location, weight, and dimensions of your order.

Lock 8 Equipment offers various methods of shipping. Estimated shipping times within Canada are as followed. Typically "Standard" shipping may arrive in 1-2 days when shipped within Ontario. 

For Commercial Accounts we have a fleet of trucks that cover from the Niagara Region up to the GTA. Call for Scheduling a delivery. Truck Crane available for special unloading circumstances.

* Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within Canada.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

 

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a confirmation once your order has been placed with estimated shipping dates and backorders.

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Lock 8 Equipment is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

Lock 8 Equipment is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Please Note:

While most orders placed by 2 PM EST will ship the same day. If items are not in stock, Lock 8 Equipment will notify you of backorders and additional processing time on the confirmation. In the event that your order exceeds 90 lbs, you will be contacted by a representative of Lock 8 Equipment Inc. to further discuss methods of shipping and shipping charges.

Canadian Tax: Taxes are based on the ship-to address when sent in Canada.

 

International Shipping Policy

Lock 8 Equipment also ships within the United States (not including Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Alaska). For shipment to these locations please call us to arrange.
