This depends on the item. Lock 8 is a warranty repair facility for most major brands. Warranties are subject to manufacturer warranty (can vary from supplier to supplier).
We are capable of shipping to almost any address within Canada, and the 50 U.S. states. If there is an issue with your shipping location, we will contact you.
We currently only accept orders within Canada and the 50 U.S. states.

Important Notice: Temporary Suspension of U.S. Shipments
Effective October 14, 2025
Due to recent changes to U.S. import and brokerage regulations, Lock 8 Equipment has temporarily suspended all shipments to the United States.
These regulatory changes have created additional processing requirements for cross-border shipments, making it impractical to continue shipping to U.S. destinations at this time.
We will re-evaluate this decision if regulations change or new shipping options become available.

Shipping and Freight Information
We strive to price our products fairly and charge reasonable shipping based on the items purchased.
Some items are identified as “Free Shipping.” If your order includes an item that qualifies for free shipping, the entire order may ship free unless otherwise specified.
Most other orders are subject to a $15 flat shipping fee, which covers the majority of standard shipments. If an item does not qualify for this rate due to weight, size, or special handling requirements, the applicable shipping charge will be displayed during checkout and will apply to the full order.
Your available shipping options and costs will always be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Same-day courier service is available within the Niagara Region, Halton Region, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Orders must be placed before 10:00 AM Monday–Friday to qualify. Please contact us for courier rates.
Customers may also pick up orders at one of our locations. Shipping charges do not apply to pickup orders. Please call ahead to ensure your order is ready.
Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment Processing Time
If an item is in stock at one of our locations, orders placed before 12:00 PM EST typically ship the same business day. Orders placed after this time will generally ship the next business day.
Orders containing items not currently in stock will include an estimated shipping date in the order confirmation.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
Customers may also pick up orders at our locations in Port Colborne or Hamilton, Ontario, to avoid shipping charges. Please contact us for pickup availability.
During periods of high order volume, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If a significant delay occurs, we will contact you by email or telephone.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and depend on your location, order weight, and package dimensions.

Delivery delays may occasionally occur due to carrier circumstances beyond our control.
For commercial accounts, Lock 8 Equipment operates a fleet of delivery trucks servicing the Niagara Region through the GTA. Please contact us to schedule delivery. A truck crane is available for specialized unloading when required.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been placed. This email will include estimated shipping dates and backorder information if applicable.
Once your order ships, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number. Tracking numbers typically become active within 24 hours.
Shipping Limits & Special Handling
If your order exceeds 90 lbs, a Lock 8 Equipment representative may contact you to discuss shipping options and associated freight charges.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Lock 8 Equipment is not responsible for customs fees, duties, tariffs, or taxes applied to orders during or after shipping. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Canadian sales tax is calculated based on the shipping destination address.
Shipping Damage
Lock 8 Equipment is not liable for products damaged or lost during shipping.
If your shipment arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.
Please retain all packaging materials and damaged goods until the claim process is complete.
